About Claire

I admit to possessing some rather useful obsessive-compulsive traits. I've also been described as a modern-day Renaissance woman. As such, I've acquired a curious set of talents, gathered over a lifetime of vagabonding and exploring my professional passions.
This, combined with having been a successful 5-star vacation rental owner and manager myself, enables me to be of particular service to you as a you seek to delight your guests—and thereby deepen your own satisfaction as a vacation rental owner/manager.
Here's a peek into what makes me uniquely able to assist you.
I owned my own interior design consulting/design coaching business for about 12 years, also called Enchanted Home. I also spent a several years as a professional real estate stager, during which time I also taught staging classes to Realtors and home sellers.
This led to my studies and certification in a westernized approach to the art of feng shui. Feng shui primarily concerns itself with intentionally designing ease-of-experience.
As someone who lives life with sensory processing sensitivity, I'm highly attuned to detail. I'm a major homebody and a reluctant traveler who always stays in vacation rentals—and I've stayed in a lot of 'em—and my Spidey-senses are constantly scanning, noting what-not-to-do, as well as paying keen attention to the things that make me smile and feel gratified. And at home.
I refined the fine art of caring for others during my 16 years as a Licensed Massage Therapist in private practice. I saw how everything in the massage space—lighting, linens, furnishings, accessories, and many thoughtful little touches–worked together to create a visceral invitation to stand down from the onslaught of stressors in everyday life. I became very adept at helping people feel at ease.
As a lifelong visual artist and colorist, I have a keen eye for creating beauty and harmony—on the page and in the built environment.
I also spent several years facilitating MasterMind groups for small business owners, primarily women solo entrepreneurs. So I know how to inspire, empower and equip folks to get things done, even in the face of seemingly-daunting obstacles.
Through all of these often-overlapping vocational chapters, I was always looking to extend the ease through to my 'marketing collateral' (geek-speak for things like business cards, websites, ads, flyers, and branding). This—and always seeking to economize as a small business owner—led me to teach myself web design and graphic design. I've gone on to design many websites and other useful, beautiful marketing pieces, some of which you can check out here and here.
And finally, having owned and managed 2 thriving vacation rentals in southern Arizona, the glowing 5-Star reviews on VRBO/HomeAway and my repeat SuperHost status on Airbnb point to the fact that I must be doing something right.
So, if you're disappointed with lackluster guest reviews, or frustrated with less-than-appreciative guests, you may find that something I've been doing is worth copying.
I can help you. I can show you how.
